Chocolate Chip Cookie Protein Shake

I dedicate this recipe to the lady who came to the gym smelling of warm fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. YES! Chocolate chips. So this is how it went down… I’m on the stationary bike sweating my damn life away and in walks this lady, she had to had been in her mid 40s or so. We (all on the bikes) just turn our heads in her direction as she walks past. I asked this dude next to me like “Yo did she just smell like chocolate chip cookies!?!?” He laughs, and agees with me, and so does everyone else. WHO DOESSSSSSSSSSSSSS THAT?!?! Who comes to the gym smelling like heavenly smelling cookies?!? Big Frown So because of her, this protein shake was inspired by her… lady who smells of chocolate chip cookies.

Chocolate Chip Protein Shake
Serves 1
Dedicated to the woman who smells like chocolate chip cookies at the gym.

Ingredients
  1. 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  2. 1 cup almond milk (sweetened/unsweetened or whatever milk you like.)
  3. 1 tbs. cacao chips/nibs
  4. sweetener (optional)
  5. ice, to your desired thickness
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass.
  3. Sprinkle a few cacao chips on top.
  4. Enjoy!!

Banana Cream Pie Protein Shake

I have a thing for banana flavored things. Pies, Cakes, Shakes… but not artificially flavored banana. That shit is gross. But this shake right here is awesome. Smile

Banana Cream Pie Protein Shake
Serves 1
This is my absolute FAVORITE shake.... everrrrrrrrr!!!

Ingredients
  1. 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
  2. 1 cup Almond Milk (sweetened/unsweetened or whatever milk you like.)
  3. 1 tbsp. Sugar Free/Fat Free Banana Cream Jello Pudding Powder
  4. 1 frozen banana (If the banana is NOT frozen, it won’t be as thick! I like it frozen.)
  5. 1 large Reduced Fat Graham Cracker (optional)
  6. 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice (optional)
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. When smooth, break the graham crackers into chunks and add to the shake.
  3. Mix this until the graham crackers are broken up into the shake.
  4. Pour into a glass.
  5. Enjoy!!
Notes
  1. You can also add ice to your ingredients, if you shake isn't thick enough.

Happy New Year!!

Hi I’m Dani, and welcome to my new fitness blog. I had created this back in September but I kinda fell off. I decided with it being the new year to start it off right. Smile
So far I am off to a good start. I went to the gym at 7am, went grocery shopping, washed all my clothing and bedding, groomed my dog, and I’m just here relaxing. Smile

I made a few resolutions for myself this year and here they are:

  • GYM! At least 4/5 times a week.
  • Eat cleaner.
  • Not to stress as much.
  • BE HAPPY. BE POSITIVE.
  • Do not let others control, how I feel.
  • Love myself.
  • Lose this weight. I woke up and I damn near died. (181.5) Cry
  • Manage my money better.
  • Start up a savings.
  • Move.
